There was a car crash Tuesday, about 7 p.m., on 41st Street near Aldrich Avenue S, in Minneapolis. The Cadillac ricocheted from a tree, to a railing, to another tree before coming to a stop. All of the airbags deployed. The 49-year-old passenger was taken to HCMC and died from respiratory complications due to injury.
The Cadillac had just been involved in an accident with a Mini Cooper and was fleeing the scene. According to police reports, the 46-year-old driver was cited on hit and run charges, driving on a revoked license, and no proof of insurance.
