Statute of Limitations in Wrongful Death Action

Section 573 of Minnesota Statutes governs wrongful death actions in Minnesota. It provides that an action to recover damages in a wrongful death case must be initiated within three (3) years from the date of death, provided that the action is commenced within six (6) years after the wrongful act or omission.
