The naked man had crashed his car and was walking for help at the time he wandered into traffic and was struck.

The incident happened at 12:45 a.m., according to the patrol. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Thomas Edmonds, 29, of Minneapolis.

MNDot video has been turned over to state investigators. They hope to identify the vehicle and driver that struck Edmonds. The accident is under investigation.
